В статье исследуется роль университетов в социально-экономическом развитии регионов Центрального федерального округа. Цель исследования – выявить и обосновать эффективные модели взаимодействия вузов с региональной экономикой. Задачи: провести сравнительный анализ моделей университетов (предпринимательского, региональной инновационной системы, «Режима 2», «Режима 3», вовлеченного); составить матрицу сравнения уровня развития образования и социально-экономического положения регионов; выявить зависимость между этими показателями; разработать практические рекомендации; определить риски реализации предложенных подходов. Методология включает сравнительный анализ, матричный метод, кейс-стади. Научная новизна состоит в интеграции теоретических моделей университетов в единую аналитическую рамку с их эмпирической проверкой на данных регионов Центрального федерального округа, а также в разработке индикаторов оценки эффективности взаимодействия вузов и региональной экономики. Основные результаты: подтверждена положительная взаимосвязь между уровнем развития образования и социально-экономическим положением регионов; выявлены сильные и слабые стороны каждой модели университета; предложены механизмы интеграции вузов в региональное развитие (создание базы лучших практик, методология совмещения задач, устойчивые источники финансирования). По итогам исследования наиболее эффективен гибкий подход, сочетающий элементы разных моделей с учетом специфики региона. Результаты могут быть использованы для совершенствования стратегий регионального развития.
The article examines the role of universities in social and economic development in the Central Federal District regions. The paper aims to detect and substantiate the efficient models of the regional university-economy interaction. The objectives are to comparatively analyze the university models, including the entrepreneurial, regional innovation system, Mode 2, Mode 3, and engaged models; correlate the education development with the social and economic situation in the areas and present it as a matrix; and identify the dependency between the parameters. Furthermore, the research tasks include elaborating practical recommendations and defining the implementation risks of the proposed approaches. The methodology comprises comparative analysis, the matrix method, and case studies. The scientific novelty lies in integrating the theoretical university models into a unified analytical framework, their experimental testing in the Central Federal District regions, and formulating the criteria for evaluating the efficiency of the regional university-economy interaction. As a result, the work justifies the positive correlation between the degree of education development and social and economic situation in the areas, as well as highlights the pros and cons of each university model. The author proposes mechanisms incorporating universities into regional development, which focus on the optimal practices systematization, tasks synthesis, and sustainable sources of funding. The conclusion emphasizes the efficiency of the flexible approach that combines the constituents of different models, considering the regional specifics. These results can help improve regional development strategies.
