IMPLEMENTATION OF LEAN TECHNOLOGIES IN SMALL PRODUCTION ENTERPRISES

Abstract

The article describes the use of lean technologies (lean production) in enterprises of different production
volumes. The rare use of these technologies at Russian enterprises demonstrates the existing problems
for the implementation of lean technologies. The purpose of the research is to spread the experience of using lean technologies, determine the tools that are suitable for a particular enterprise, and determine the procedure for implementing the technologies under study. Objectives of the study are to review existing Russian experience of the technology use, efficiency and technological conditions for its implementation, and to identify problems associated with the use of technologies in small businesses and stages of application, given the existing plant conditions. Based on the expert evaluation, the main reasons for the failure of enterprises to implement lean manufacturing tools are identified. The stages for the introduction of lean technologies in small manufacturing enterprises are proposed, as well as the existing developments that can be used to reduce the material and energy resources of the enterprise are listed. The proposed stages of applying lean technologies will increase the number of small businesses that have optimized their losses and increased the efficiency of the “value stream”.
